I talked about the Demonstrator Playdate I recently had the pleasure of attending in a previous post. If you haven't already done so, I encourage you to read it. And even more, I would LOVE for you to join me at the next one on May 2.
One of the highlights from the day is always the shoebox swap. Today's project is one of those from said swap and was designed by Corrinne Duval. I love this card as it features two stamp sets that I currently don't have myself; Dandelion Wishes and Bokeh Dots.
The card base is Gorgeous Grape. It measures 8 1/5" x 5 1/2", folded in half to become a quarter-fold card at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Using Gorgeous Grape ink, the dandelion seed image is stamped randomly around the border of the base. Next, a layer of Pool Party card stock is cut to 4 1/2" x 3 3/4" is embossed using the Subtles embossing folder. Whisper White cardstock is then cut at 3 3/4" x 3" and a second piece at 3" x 2". On the smaller of the two, the Bokeh Dots background is stamped in Pool Party ink. Then that piece is laid in place atop the larger of the Whisper White, and the dandelion is stamped in Gorgeous Grape. The sentiment is stamped in Gorgeous Grape. The layers are assembled using Snail before the layer stamped with the Bokeh Dots is placed with Stampin' Dimensionals. Rhinestones add the finishing touch.
