Hello Friends and happy Friday! Did you take advantage of the Seasonal Sale this week? Wasn't it fantastic? While the Seasonal Sale may have come to an end; there are still savings to be had. The Start with Savings promotion is still on until the 30th! In my opinion, this is the BEST deal out there, even better than the Seasonal Sale! More on that later...
Did you catch my Facebook Live Monday night? I created today's project to show the versatility of our amazing stamp sets. I took a set, Forever Fern, that really has NOTHING to do with Christmas, and used it to make a Christmas card!
Card Measurements:
Evening Evergreen card stock base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Basic White: 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White: 3 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Card Details:
Cut your card base, score at 4 1/4" and fold in half. Burnish the edge with a bone folder for a nice crisp fold.
On Basic White, stamp the long narrow image in Evening Evergreen across the top of the card stock three times using Forever Fern.
Fill in the spaces between the greenery with the round leafed image, in Cherry Cobbler.
Using a dark Evening Evergreen Stampin' Blend, colour a piece of the White Glittery Organdie Ribbon using the brush tip. Tie in a bow around the bottom third of the Basic White card stock and attach to card base with Stampin' Seal.
Cut Basic White using Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Stamp one spring of greenery in Evening Evergreen and one set of "berries" in Cherry Cobbler, along the right side of the tag. In Cherry Cobbler, stamp greeting in the centre of the tag (I used the Perfectly Plaid set for the greeting)
Attach over the ribbon, to the right side of the card, using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Sprinkle with Rhinestones to complete the card!
Here's the replay of the LIVE so you can see the steps in action; and, you'll find a list of the supplies I used at the bottom of this post.
Happy stampin'!
