Hallowe'en Treats

Fall is in the air and that means there are going to be so many reasons to make treats and favours for family and friends. Today, I want to share two super cute packaging ideas. These are both in Hallowe'en theme, but they can be adapted for just about any season.

These two packages were actually "pillow gifts" for attending a Demonstrator training hosted by two fellow Canadian Demonstrators. Talk about an awesome perk ;)

Let's start with the smaller package. This cute little pouch is made using a sheet of 6" x 6" DSP or card stock. You'll also need the second largest circle die cute from the Stitched Shapes dies. When you open it up, you can see there is a spool of linen thread in the pouch; but it would also fit a roll of life savers or breath savers candies!

Next, we have the larger package complete with belly band. This packaging is perfect to fit a spool of ribbon; but it would also hold several smaller candies, like rolls of rockets, mini chocolate bars, etc. You start with a sheet of card stock cut to 9 1/2" x 6 3/4". Along the landscape side, score at 1 1/2", 2", 5 1/2" & 6". Turn 90 degrees and score at 1" & 1 1/2"; do this on both ends. there will be some cutting and trimming required, so I will post a video in the coming days that shows how to assemble these awesome boxes.

If you're excited to try your hand at these fun packaging options, a detailed supply list can be found below. You can click on individual items to see them in the online store, or if you want to add everything to your collection, click on the images above to have them added directly to your shopping cart. Don't forget to check out my InkBlot Rewards for all the additional benefits to shopping with me, Stephanie Nash!

Happy stampin'!
