Meadow Expressions

Good day my Friends! It’s a beautiful, if not HOT, Monday here in Southern Ontario. It’s almost too hot to do much of anything outside, so why not spend the day crafting indoors!

I have a fantastic card to share with you today. This is another swap card I recently received, this from Elicia Zebroski, one of my team members.

This card has so many elements that stood out and wowed me...even after 20+ years paper crafting, I am still wowed and inspired too!

First, I LOVE the Expressions in Ink DSP. The beautiful pink marble with pops of gold foil is spectacular, and the photo really just doesn't do it justice. Next, the flower stamps in the upper corner are just the perfect touch of feminity and then of course, the sentiment...AMAZING! I also really love the blocking that is showcased. Did you notice it? You'll find a list of the supplies at the bottom of this post in case you want to add any of them to your personal collection!

Card Measurements:

  • Basic White card stock base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

  • Polished Pink: 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"

  • DSP: (3) 4" x 1"

  • Polished Pink: 2 1/4" x 2 1/2"

  • Basic White: 2" x 2 1/4"

  • Polished Pink: 1 1/2" x 3 3/4"

  • Basic White: 1 1/4" x 3 1/2"

Card Details:

  • Fold your card base in half and burnish edge with bone folder.

  • On the largest piece of Polished Pink, attach strips of DSP leaving 1/8" gap between each panel and top, sides and bottom, using Stampin' Seal. Attach layer to card base in upper left corner leaving 1/8" border top and left side.

  • On smallest piece of Basic White, stamp flowers in Polished Pink and attach to Polished Pink square with Seal. Layer on top of DSP panel toward right side of card front, leaving approx 1/4" from top of DSP and 1/8" from right side.

  • On longer piece of Basic White, stamp sentiment using Create with Friends stamp set, in Polished Pink ink. Attach to Polished Pink Matte and attach to bottom of card front, leaving 1/8" border from bottom and right side.

  • Sprinkle with large Rhinestones and Pearl coloured with Stampin' Blend in Polished Pink.

It sure is! I'm going to have to case it in some of the other colours that coordinate with the DSP pack!
