Scalloped Peach Thanks

Writer's picture: Stephanie NashStephanie Nash

Happy Monday! I'm so glad to be back and sharing some inspiration with you all today. While I'm in full-on Christmas mode, I want to share a card featuring the Sweet as a Peach stamp set that I created for the August Card Club.

I must admit, I really love the Scalloped Contours dies as they create a perfect layer for any card you make; and that's certainly true here. I wanted to keep things simple and really love the clean, crisp look of the white on white. I pulled in a sheet of the You're a Peach DSP, and some linen thread, coloured with Old Olive Blends to pull it all together.

Card Measurements:

  • Basic White Thick Card stock: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

  • Basic White: 5 1/4" x 4"

  • Basic White: 3" x 2 1/2"

  • Basic White: 2" x 4"

  • DSP: 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"

Card Details:

  • Cut card base and fold in half.

  • Cut scalloped frame from Basic White card stock, using largest rectangle from Scalloped Contours dies

  • Cut DSP to size and attach to scalloped frame using Stampin' Seal.

  • Using brush tip of Old Olive Stampin' Blends, colour length of linen thread and wrap around the scalloped frame twice, tie a bow and then attach the layer to card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

  • Die cut label in Basic White using Tasteful Labels dies. Stamp sentiment in Pear Pizazz ink and attach to DSP layer, over twine, with Stampin' Dimensionals.

  • Stamp peach in Calypso Coral ink and leaves in Pear Pizzaz on Basic White. Use Peach dies to cut out and attach to label with Dimensionals.

  • Stamp sentiment on Basic White in Calypso Coral and cut using Paper Snips. Attach overlapping peach with Seal, and using Dimensional to support the right side.

  • Sprinkle Rhinestones to complete the card.

I hope you loved today's card as much as I do. There's something so sweet and summery about it. I know you'll love this fantastic suite as much as I do! I'll share the complete list of products I used at the bottom of this post.
