Hello stamping friends, I'm so happy you've decided to stop by today as it's another Stampers Showcase blog hop! This month the focus is gift packaging. It's easy to forget that we can make more than just cards with our paper crafting skills, and I'm glad to have been pushed out of my comfort zone this month.
I chose to make these two gift bags using the BEAUTIFUL Peony Garden DSP. Once sheet created both. For the larger of the two, I used the measurements from Sandra Ronald:
Measurements: 9" x 6 3/4"
Score short side: 1/2", 2 1/2", 3 5/8", 5 5/8"
Score long side: 1 1/8", 7 1/4"
For the smaller of the two bags, I created it by playing with the leftover pieces from the larger bag and so I don't have formal measurements. The larger bag will fit 2 full-sized chocolate bars, perfect for surprising a friend with a little something to make them smile!
Be sure to click on the button below to hop along with the other amazing Demonstrators and find more gift packaging ideas. There is so much we can do with our love of paper crafting if we're open to try new things.
If you live in Canada and do not currently have a demonstrator, I would be honoured to be that person for you! I value all my customers and have created a rewards program to show you how much I care. Be sure to check out the full details on my InkBlotz page. If you've looking to add any of the items you've seen here, or from any of the other projects, to your personal collection, you can shop my online store 24/7 at www.inkspireme.com/shop.
