Good morning Stampers! It's my favourite time of the month again, it's time for another Stampers Showcase Blog Hop! This month, "All You Need is Love"!
I created two projects for today's hop. The first, a card, uses the stamp set Heartfelt. The base Flirty Flamingo cardstock, stamped with various hearts also in Flirty Flamingo. I then took a sheet of patterned paper from the new From My Heart Specialty DSP pack, cutting them into 2" x 4 " and 2" x 3 3/4" strips. I tore the bottom of both pieces before layering them on the base. Next, from Basic Black, I cut out the swirl using the Painted Labels dies. Heart Doilies are then added on top for the centre piece. First a doily in Real Red, then a second doily that I've cut the centre out of, in Flirty Flamingo layered on top. On Whisper White, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using the Painted Labels dies. I cut a second label in Real Red, layering it behind the Whisper White, slightly skewed and mounted them to the base with Stampin' Dimensionals. Using the From My Heart Faceted Gems, 2 smaller items are added to the label for a little bling.
The second project for today's hop is what is traditionally a Christmas cracker; but I've changed the design to make a cute treat package for some Valentine's goodies. The video tutorial can be found over on my YouTube channel. Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss any future videos.
